Manifesto Art Exhibition
Manifesto art exhibition which called “We are for Nuclear Disarmament!” was created of young painters from Karaganda.

All graphic works of the exhibition narrate about horrible events of nuclear tests and invoke people to keep peace. The exhibition works have hard social subtext and it can to make discomfort to spectator. But that’s way we can feel needing to make choice for nuclear-weapons-free world, peace and life of Humanity.
In history of nuclear disarmament there was one very important stage – the signing of Russell-Einstein Manifesto in 1955. In that time authors of Manifesto noted with anxiety the society is not understanding all tragedy and dangerous of nuclear war and as notion such Humanity seems in minds very abstract. Unfortunately, even now, more than 60 years later text of Manifesto keeps actuality. Human get technical means to destroy the entire civilization with creation of nuclear weapon. In fact, any war contradicts of light purposes of Human and nuclear weapon is extreme incarnation of Evil ever created him.
Kazakhstan knowsfirsthand about horridness of nuclear weapon. In 1989, October, 19 in Semipalatinsk test site thundered last nuclear blast. Total amount of nuclear expositions were made on this land is about 456. More than 1500 000 people affected from nuclear tests and the horrible echo reaches to our days.
Fact of existence nuclear weapon in modern World poses next question for us: is Human destroyer or creator? But answer hide in Human – in his culture, his education, in aesthetics and ethics of Human existence.
Actually this issue is discussed in Russell-Einstein Manifesto, what inspired young artists on creation of this exhibition: “We appeal as people to people: remember about your Human race and forget about something else”.
Exhibition runs from October, 22 till November, 20.
