Opening of temporary exhibition “Sacral places of Sary-Arka”


April, 13 in Historical and Cultural Center of First President was opening of temporary exhibition “Sacral places of Sary-Arka”. This exhibition consists from three sections: first section includes photos of historical and cultural monuments of Karaganda region; in second section demonstrates such genuine ancient museum items, as tools of Bronze Age (Andronovo the culture), made from bronze, bones and stones; in third section for your attention it is proposed different literature about historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
What are “sacral places”? What is hidden back this term?
Sacral places are objects of cultural heritage, Protected Natural Areas (PNA) and monuments, which connected with different historical and political events. Many scientists – historians, archaeologists, ethnologists work for their keeping, protecting and digitalization. Meanwhile, young generation study of sacred places of Kazakhstan. Young people try to get invaluable knowledge and understanding of history their Motherland.
Exhibition “Sacral places of Sary-Arka” prepared mainly for young audience, as students and all people, who interesting of questions of History and Archaeology. That’s way, the main mission of this exhibition are to arose interest to local-lore activity and encourage to study of history of Motherland, also to contribute of development of domestic tourism.
Exhibition “Sacral places of Sary-Arka” will stay open from 13th to 25th April.
