“Temirtau – a Golden cradle” exhibition event

On September 29, 2020, a solemn event was held at the State Enterprise “Historical and Cultural Center of the First President” – the combined exhibition “Temirtau – a golden cradle”, dedicated to the significant date – the 75th anniversary of the city of Temirtau. The preparation of the event was attended by the Karaganda Regional Museum of Fine Arts, Children’s Art School named after G. Zhubanova.
On the square near the Monument to Metallurgists, visitors of the event could see paintings from the Karaganda Museum of Fine Arts of 1960-1980, made in the traditional art direction of that time – “socialist realism”, and the work of students of the Temirtau School of Arts named after G. Zhubanova, dedicated to the formation of the city of Temirtau and its history. In addition, the visitors got acquainted with a photo exhibition telling about the life path of N. A. Nazarbayev and his political career, which began, as you know, in the city of Temirtau, at the Karaganda metallurgical plant. Unique retro photographs of the construction of the city of Temirtau and Kazakhstan’s Magnitogorsk are a worthy addition to the photo-documentary exposition.
