Теміртау – Елбасының алтын бесігі
The history of the town of metallurgists is inextricably linked with the name of the country’s First President Nursultan Nazarbayev. On the eve of the 74th anniversary of Temirtau on September 27, in the First President Historical and Cultural Center took part a celebratory event called Temirtau is the Golden Cradle of Elbasy. The honorary guests of the Center were associates of the First President Ilyas Baymurzayev and Ermek Tuleubayev, who told the youth about Kazakhstan’s Magnitka and the history of the town.
The purpose of the event is to introduce young people to the history of their hometown, patriotic education of the younger generation.
The event was attended by members of the Council of Aksakals of Temirtau, famous local poets Kasim Botanov and Ruza Aldasheva, students of Temirtau colleges, high school students and soldiers of military unit 5516.
The participants were offered videos, a quiz on the history of Temirtau, read poems about the town, songs.
Participants of the event listened to the stories Elbasy’s contemporaries and poems about Temirtau, as well as songs by soloists of the Temirtau Palace of Culture Janna Hasenova and Ardabek Octabr.
At the end of the event Temirtau is the Golden Cradle of Elbasy the head of the Center Saida Sargizova congratulated the participants of the event and presented gifts.
