In the First President Historical and Cultural Center a literary matineethe Classic of Kazakh Children’s Literature dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the writer Berdibek Sokpakbayev was held.
The main purpose of the event is to educate the younger generation on the example of the writer’s works in the spirit of patriotism, truthfulness, honesty, loyalty, introduction of young people with the works of classics of Kazakh literature, drawing attention to reading and spiritual enrichment.
At the literary matinee presentations on the work of the famous writer were delivered by the teacher of the Temirtau secondary school No. 21 Botagoz Nihanbayeva and librarian of the Temirtau Central Library System Danagul Omirbayeva.
Veteran of national education Tagrifa Abduahitova and head of the department of the First President Historical and Cultural Center Daurbek Ketebayev told about the importantceto give young people spiritual education through the works of Kazakh writers. The event was attended by students and literatureteachers of schools in Temirtau, college students and employees of the Central Library System of Temirtau. They were offered a book exhibition dedicated to the work of the writer Berdibek Sokpakbayev.
At the end of the matinee the deputy head of the First President Historical and Cultural Center Gulzhan Kudarinova noted the importance of the event primarily for young people, handed the active participants grateful letters and memorabilia gifts.
