March, 1 in the First President Historical and Cultural Center the contest dedicated to the Day of Gratitude held. The Day of Gratitude is celebrated on the initiative of the Leader of the Nation with 2016 as a day of other nations thanks to the Kazakh people for the warm welcome, the consolidation in peace in the multi-ethnic Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by students of Russian schools, the representatives of other nationalities. The aim of the event: the development of respect for the State language, love of country, interest to the State language.
The competition consisted of three stages. The first is the Kazakh greeting, the second phase included the performance on the stage in the Kazakh or native language, the third was devoted to answering questions about the history, customs and traditions of the Kazakh people. Best Contest participants were awarded.
