The Regional Competition of Scientific Projects “Historical Projects and Initiatives of Elbasy” Dedicated to the Day of the First President
In the First President Historical and Cultural Center was completed the traditional regional competition “Historical Projects and Initiatives of Elbasy” dedicated to the First President’s Day.
The aim of the competition is to identify the level and trends of the development of scientific research of the younger generation in the study and promotion of the ideas and initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, as well as to stimulate youth’s research and educational activities.
The competition was attended by students of ten colleges in the Karaganda region, whose work was selected by the jury after the previous stage (representatives of 30 colleges of the region took part in it). The intramural round of the competition meant the presentation of scientific projects carried out within the framework of Elbasy’s articles “Looking to the Future: Modernization of Public Consciousness” and “Seven Faces of the Great Steppe.”
The projects were evaluated by members of the jury, which included University and school teachers, and representatives of education department, as well as department of culture, archives and documentation of the Karaganda region.
At the end of the event, the organizing committee of the Competition on the basis of the jury’s decision determined the winners and prize-winners. The first place was taken by student of the Bukhar Zhirau Agritechnical College Victoria Makusheva, the second place – a student of Karaganda Humanities College Nesibeli Kiyanbekova, the third place – a student of Temirtau professional and technical college Anastasia Tarkhova.
The winners were awarded diplomas, certificates and cash certificates for 40,000, 30,000 and 20,000 tenge. The letters of thanks were also given to the scientific advisers of the winners of the competition. All participants of the competition were awarded with the letters of thanks and valuable prizes of the Historical and Cultural Center.
