April, 30 in theFirst President Historical and Cultural Center took placethe festival Under a Unitary Shanyrakdedicated Kazakhstan People’s Unity Day.
With the aim of promoting unity and friendship of peoples, respect for the spiritual and cultural values of different nationalities, foster a common to all ethnicities nationwide values and qualities in the Red Hall of the Center gathered members of the public association DruzhbaNarodov of Temirtau, ethno-cultural centers, members of the Local Council of elders, Council of veterans, ensemble Magnitka.
Ethno-cultural centers have prepared mini exhibitions that introduced the guests with the traditions of different nationalities. Were here traditional German Christmas and Easter gifts, Polish Mazhanna (doll is a symbol of spring) and Guy (branch of desires), Korean woven Wicker colander and baskets for noodles, Cossack wooden rubel for ironing and pottery, traditional Kazakh and Tatar handicrafts.
The official program began with a song of ensemble of veterans Magnitka. Head of the public association Friendship of Peoples A. Bajmurzayev told about the importance of a public association in the development of unity and friendship of the people, greeted members of ethno-cultural associations, students of Karaganda State industrial University, students of vocational college, police officers with the Kazakhstan People’s Unity Day. The concert sounded German, Kazakh and Tatar, Korean songs, old Cossack romances, wonderfully executed dance ensemble of the Kazakh Cultural Centre of ArcelorMittal Temirtau, shows Polish rite of spring meeting.
