The aim of the event is a tribute to the memory of victims of people’s tragedy, modernization of historical consciousness in the younger generation.
The members of the Council of elders, community associations teachers and students of urban colleges, internal Affairs training centre students invited to the meeting.
During the event made reports from the scientific employee of the Center Andrey Kavayev the President’s Initiatives for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression and researcher of the Centre Kuatbek Mambetov Remember People’s Grief is our Filial Duty: Causes and Consequences. Shown a video about the political repression and the film about the famine in Kazakhstan 1930-1932 a Handful of Grain.
The older generation shared their memories about the famine and repression with the younger generation.
