On January 22, 2020 the Temirtau Palace of Culture hosted a Forum dedicated to the start of significant events in the history of Kazakhstan, which are celebrated this year at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokaev.  In the series of these anniversary dates – the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker of the East Al-Farabi, the 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde, the 175th anniversary of the great Abay, the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and the town of Temirtau.

Galim Ashimov, Temirtau akim who shouted the opening speech the Forum, called on the Temirtaus to celebrate the anniversaries that have been significant in the history of the people. The First President Historic and Cultural Center researcher Kuatbek Mambetov took part in the event with the report.
