In the First President Historical and Cultural Center on January 16, 2020 took place an event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of writers, akins: Kadyr Myrza Ali (05.01.1935 – 24.01.2011; poet, people’s writer of Kazakhstan) and Timanbay Moldaliev (poet, people’s writer of Kazakhstan).
Participants of the meeting – employees of the Temirtau library system, teachers, methodists of secondary educational institutions, students of schools and colleges – read the works of outstanding masters of the word. The event was held in order to popularize the works of Kazakhstani poets and folk writers, whose work attracts to reading and studying works about the native land.
Kadyr Myrza Ali first poem was published in 1954 in Pioneer magazine. The first collection of poems “Koktem” was published in 1959. Books of the poet have made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh children’s literature. Songs (about 200) were written on the poet’s poems. His poems have been translated into English, French, German, Bulgarian, Hungarian and Finnish.
The first poetry book “Student Daptery” by Tumanbay Moldagaliev was published in 1957 (“Student Notebook”). Then were published the collections of poems, songs. He has also written children’s books, “Etekbay atam yinde” and “Arman men Bota.” The love lyrics of Tumanbay Muldagaliyev are very popular as well his songs, written in partnership with composers Nurgisa Tlendiyev, Shamshi Kaldyakov, A. Beiseuov.
Tumanbay Muldagaliyev worked fruitfully in the field of artistic translation: translated into Kazakh the works of classics of foreign and multinational literature of the CIS – J. Byron, Mikhail Lermontov, G. Ghulam, R. Gamzatov, Sulfia, etc., as well as excerpts from the Kyrgyz epic Manas. Many of Muldagaliyev’s works have been translated into Russian, Uzbek and other languages.
