«Mercedes-Benz» is a brand of premium cars, which is one of the most recognizable automobile brands in all over the world.

The First President’s car was allegedly armored by German company Trasco Bremen, professionally engaged in the protection cars of top officials of states. The car went through several stages in armour process. Initially, the original car was almost completely disassembled and an armored capsule is mounted in the body, which is the basis of all protection. Heterogeneous steel sheets with surface heat treatment of one of sides are often used as a material in armour process.

Thanks to this approach, two problems are solved at once: external the side of the sheet provides maximum bullet resistance, and the inner side protects passengers from fragments that may form when a vehicle is fired upon with armor-piercing bullets. The next element is windows. Naturally, the “original” power windows are replaced with powerful ones. For them double-glazed windows with a thickness of 35–70 mm, made of several layers are produced, each of which, in addition to the glass itself, contains a layer of plastic.  It is placed in a special frame that holds the transparent element on its place in the event of an explosion. One of the last, but no less important position on the list of improvements is the replacement of standard wheels with bulletproof ones, having not only a reinforced cord, but also an internal insert, allowing the car to remain on the move even with a damaged tire.

Well, at the final stage additional options are installed, for example, communications and life support systems. The car is equipped with a system of fire extinguishing system, compressed air supply system, in case of gas attack.

In case of emergency, emergency locking is provided inside the car. Alarm loudspeaker is installed.
